Code of Ethics for members and attendees of Florida Real Estate Exchangors (FREE).
All members and attendees of FREE agree to observe and be held to a high standard of ethical behavior which includes, but is not limited to, the following list. As a FREE member or participant of a Marketing Session:
Will not intentionally misrepresent any material fact in my business dealings.
Will keep myself informed on matters affecting housing in my community, including local, state, and federal laws.
Will provide safe and sanitary housing.
Will provide assistance to fellow FREE members whenever prudent and appropriate.
Will act as a positive role model for the professions of Real Estate Investing Exchanging when dealing with buyers, sellers, tenants, the public, the media, government officials and all others.
Will be responsible to complete my own due diligence (homework) in all business dealings and will encourage others to do the same.
Will not malign other FREE members.
Will not perform or cause to be performed any act which would tend to reflect on, or bring FREE into disrepute.
Will conduct my business practices with other members with integrity and in an honest manner.
Will not engage in any illegal practices and will not cheap, wrong, or defraud any other member, owner, resident, or FREE itself.
The Board of Directors, at it sole discretion, reserves the right to revoke the membership of any member or ask any attendee to leave a Marketing Session, at any time and for any reason.
